I am James MacDermot,a beginner in the art of photography.I have always enjoyed a good picture but why not go a step further and do it in a more professional matter.I feel that this year will be a long ride in the art of photography.I came into our world in the year of 2001 and over this course in time I have always liked a good picture. If it would be of a family portrait or a vacation photo it would give me some happiness only for a short moment.I also have a passion for kinetic sculpting. It really tests how I can use math to make something move in a life like way, here's a piece I have been working on for a while now.it will walk sideways and the tail and head point in to the 90 angle in which it moves. This artificial animal only needs nature as its life force, the power of wind to harness movement.I am thinking of adding a way for it to pump air and use it compressed so that it can move even with all that weight it holds.Or I can just use sails like a boat and arms that support it under the stress of the wind. A good place to use wind is at the beach or a place near it. I was inspired by a man that goes by the name of Theo Jansen,The one who started the leg system and has also shared it with the world. I am simply making a new design in which I can afford and try to make it better... So far the project was 80$ + and I have been working on this design for 3 weeks...Sooner or later I will also shows this in action on video in a fews weeks, this was written in 10/10/17 so future people you may want to first check out Theo Jansen on youtube for an idea of whats being done. What made me also start this project was the paper crane, I looked at and thought that if I can make something so simple that moves then maybe I should Try a large scale project with similar geometric functions. I seems I ramble more about kinetic art then photo art,but as a matter of fact they go hand in hand. It would be wonderful If i can make good shots of this sculpture and put it on the site just so I can feel happy about what I have achieved.

It is 2018 and still into this art of photography. Not much time has past since the last time I typed text here but I will say that my understanding of this subject has grown a bit.
